Caring for Straw Crafts

Straw is a natural material that breathes by absorbing and releasing moisture. To ensure longevity:

​

Regularly dust the piece.
Display indoors, away from direct sunlight.
If mold appears due to humidity, dry the piece thoroughly in sunlight and brush it off. Wiping with vinegar or alcohol can also be effective.
If insects appear, heat treatment (baking at 50°C for 2 hours) or pesticide treatment followed by sun drying is recommended.
